We supply Northern White Cedar lumber from the Green Mountain State of Vermont.
These Cedar trees originate from privately owned and managed lands, where a forester will select which trees to be harvested when logging. White Cedar is an incredible renewable resource and known for its rot resistance!
After the haul to our mill, these logs then go through a process to become lumber for our customers. This process entails the grading of logs, sawing, and grading once again. Depending on the customer’s request, we can kiln dry, to be planed off into smooth lumber, or send it to the customer rough and dry - green is always an option as well.
We offer three different grades Garden Bed, Sound Tight Knot and Clear (in smaller quantities).
Cedar Decking, Shiplap, Clapboards, T&G V-Groove, and Timbers are all options we supply on top of the ones previously stated.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS SPECIES, typical widths are 4"- 8" and lengths 8'-12'. We can supply 10" and 12" upon request, however, lead times for wider widths can vary from one to two months, if there’s no availability.
